All you ask from an electric shaver is for the closest shave possible. But one of the problems with some shavers is that they leave stubble. Another thing you want is for it to be easy to clean.

I’ve had my Norelco electric shaver for over 25 years and it still works. Maybe it has lasted so long is because I use it only an average of once per week. I hardly clean it like I should but that doesn’t seem to have affected its performance.
